Key Job Details – ICU RN Travel Assignment
- Location: Nampa, Idaho (Zip: 83687) – Idaho nursing jobs
- Facility Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/25/2025 – End: 1/24/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a), every other weekend (may be more as needed)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Open Positions: 3 ICU RN travel jobs available
- Orientation: 1-2 shifts, based on experience
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,800
ICU RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficient in titrating critical care drips (Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, Diltiazem)
- Skilled in reading cardiac strips (no Tele techs on unit)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to float to Telemetry or other ICUs in Meridian and Boise as needed
- Must comply with facility radius rule (permanent address outside 50 miles of facility)
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed ICU
- Manage patients with heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, GI bleeds, strokes, post-codes, pneumonia, and post-surgical complications
- Titrate and administer critical care medications and drips
- Collaborate with hospitalists, telehealth intensivists, respiratory therapists, CNAs, and crisis nurses
- Conduct patient assessments, monitoring, and documentation using EPIC charting system
- Float to other units as needed and maintain a professional, clean appearance (any color scrubs allowed)
