Travel RN - Adult Intensive Care Unit (Indianapolis, IN)

Position Details

Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Commitment: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday nights)
Call Requirements: None
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Adult Intensive Care Unit
Number of Beds: 30
Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
Equipment Used: Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, EV 1000
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Required Qualifications

Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience
Skills:
- Comprehensive patient assessment
- Care of septic patients
- Care of mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices

Preferred Skills

Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
Familiarity with Epic EMR system

Additional Requirements

Floating to other inpatient areas when home unit census is low

Orientation includes completion of modules, Epic training (if needed), and one day of unit orientation

Parking: Employee parking (yellow lined spots)
