Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 2/28/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Trauma/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (TSICU), 8-bed unit
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night); every other weekend required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (72 hours biweekly)
- Patient Ratios: 1:1–3
- Travel Requirement: Must reside at least 50 miles from facility
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2360–$2420
SICU RN Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of recent SICU and Level 1 Trauma nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- No permanent employment with Beth Israel Lahey Health in the last 6 months
- Ability to work rotating shifts and every other weekend
- At least 1 year of overall nursing experience
Surgical Intensive Care Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to surgical and trauma patients in the SICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, manage advanced medical equipment, and perform complex nursing procedures
- Offer compassionate support and education to patients and families
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices
- Engage in ongoing professional development and orientation
