Description

Travel ICU RN Opportunity - New Mexico

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), floating required

Job Requirements

Minimum 2+ years ICU experience
Experience in ER and Medical-Surgical departments required (floating to these areas)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
TNCC certification preferred
Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred

Unit Details

ICU unit with 12 beds
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 2-3 patients
Scope of role includes total ICU patient care, ventilator management, titratable drips, and hygiene care
No call required
Holidays required
EMR system: MedHost
Scrub color: Any

Additional Information

Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if included in submission
48-hour guaranteed hours are NOT approved

This position requires flexibility to float between ICU, ER, and Medical-Surgical units during night shifts.
