Atlanta Healthcare Job Details

• Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 (Georgia nursing jobs)
• Facility Type: Outpatient Surgery Center – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/7/2026)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (7:30am – 4:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950-$2000
• Employment Type: Travel nurse assignment

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ophthalmology nursing experience strongly preferred
• Must be willing to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)
• No local candidates within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care during surgical procedures in the outpatient setting
• Monitor and assess patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal clinical outcomes
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to safety protocols
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout the surgical process
