Travel Nursing Job Details

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2120-$2180

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of operating room nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active Illinois RN license in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficient in assessment, documentation, and clinical communication

OR RN Responsibilities

• Manage care for surgical patients during assigned shifts
• Conduct initial patient assessments and create individualized care plans
• Implement and adjust nursing interventions based on patient needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Establish IVs for patients over 8 years old and administer medications safely
• Participate in surgical time-out procedures and work closely with the OR team
• Identify and report safety hazards, promoting a culture of safety
• Provide feedback and support professional development for nursing peers
• Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth in nursing
