Labor & Delivery RN Job Details
- Location: Cumming, GA 30041 (Georgia healthcare jobs)
- Facility Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
- Contract Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Start Date: December 8, 2025
- End Date: March 7, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am), 3 shifts/week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,590 - $1,640
- Holiday Coverage: Must work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia RN license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- AWOHNN certification
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Cumming, GA
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and skilled care to laboring mothers and newborns
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs in a clinical setting
- Assist with deliveries and provide support to obstetric and healthcare teams
- Administer medications and IVs as required
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Accurately document all patient care activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
