Position Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: 1 CNC, 4-5 nurses
  • Night Shift: 1 CNC, 4-5 nurses
• EMR Systems: Meditech and CPN
• Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
• Weekend/On-call: Every other weekend; no on-call

Required Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Licenses:

  • Registered Nurse License
• Experience:

  • Must have mother-baby experience (candidates without this will not be considered)

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Warm and bubbly personality
• Experience caring for newborns and Level 2 babies (phototherapy and blood sugar monitoring)

Typical Procedures on Unit

• Care for newborn babies
• Care for Level 2 babies requiring phototherapy and blood sugar monitoring
