Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Sioux City, IA (zip 51104) – Northwest Iowa healthcare jobs
• Unit: Neuro-Ortho Med/Surg Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel RN contract
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• EMR: EPIC
• Interview: Same day interviews for qualified travel nurses
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880–$2020 per week

RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
• Ability to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Taxable address must be outside 50 miles from facility
• Required submission documents: work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, certifications, and 1 supervisory reference

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Neuro-Ortho Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to manage patient care plans
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using EPIC EMR
• Float to other Med/Surg Tele units as needed
• Participate in charge nurse and precepting duties
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Work required winter holidays (2 of 3: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
