- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Setting: Operating Room (OR) – Surgical Services
- Start Date: December 8, 2025
- End Date: March 16, 2026
- Duration: 14-week contract
- Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1770-$1820
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
- Unit: 70100, Operating Room
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room Registered Nurse experience required
- Clinical experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact State
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Prior travel RN experience (no first-time travelers)
- Preferred: Experience in Trauma Level I/II and community hospital settings
- Ability to float within facility and to outpatient units as needed
- Two supervisory references required (Manager or above)
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Assist with procedures in Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
- Document and chart patient care using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Pharmacy, and more)
- Float to other units within scope of practice as needed
- Complete orientation and required training modules
- Comply with all hospital policies, including scheduling and holiday coverage
