Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Location: Helena, Montana (zip 59601) – Montana healthcare jobs
• Facility: Women's & Children's (OB) Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: November 30, 2025
• End Date: February 28, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Scrubs Provided: Ciel blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a hospital setting
• Active Montana or compact state Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN fetal heart monitoring certifications
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• OB nursing experience with OR circulator skills required
• Ability to float to Medical-Surgical, ICU, or ER units as needed

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
• Assist with deliveries and perform operating room circulator duties
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Medical-Surgical, ICU, or ER units as needed, including care for stable adult overflow patients
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR
