Radiology & EP Lab Technologist Job Details

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: 3x12-Hour Day (07:00 - 19:30) and Night (18:30 - 07:00) Rotating
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2420 - $2600
- Daily Caseload: Average 18 cases
- Scrubs: Provided
- Flu Vaccine: Required
EP Lab Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an EP Lab or radiology technologist role
- DC Radiology License (active or pending)
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS
- Preferred Certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Proficiency with Philips X-Ray, Siemens X-Ray, GE Micropacer
- Preferred experience with 3D mapping (Biosense, Abbott, ESI), ViewMate Ultrasound, Laser lead machine
- Two supervisor references required
EP Lab Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablations
- Conduct specialized procedures: Head-Up-Tilt test, Cardioversion, Internal Loop Recorder, Device implants/explants (Watchman, Aveir, Pacemaker, Defibrillator), Lead extractions
- Monitor and interpret EKG settings for inpatient and outpatient sinus node rhythms
- Utilize hemodynamic monitoring and ablation equipment
- Set up and operate imaging and mapping equipment
- Maintain sterile field and assist with groin closure devices and peripherals
- Document procedures and patient data using Cerner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
