• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with on-call coverage (after hours, weekends, holidays)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Charting System: Epic EMR

CVOR RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or compact state
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience
• Ability to float to Main Operating Room (OR) when no cardiac cases are scheduled
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, assisting with cardiac surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage for after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Float to Main OR when cardiac cases are not scheduled
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
