Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Unit: Cardiac Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7PM – 7AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570
• Number of Beds: 20
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or PCU nursing
• Proficiency in managing cardiac drips (heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, ketamine)
• Strong teamwork skills and high energy

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a dynamic healthcare setting
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips and advanced clinical equipment (telemetry, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, bipap, cpap, heated high flow, chest tubes, foleys, pacer wires/pacers, IV pumps, SCD pumps)
• Assist with procedures including chest tube placement/removal, pacer wire removal, and 12-lead EKGs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team of RNs and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on patient safety and clinical excellence
