• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Location: Florence, SC 29505
• Healthcare Setting: SICU – Adult & Geriatric Critical Care
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), holiday rotation
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: Yes, within scope and between similar units
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Parking: Free on-site parking
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1680

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent SICU RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Travel nursing experience required
• Cardiac and neuro nursing experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Not accepting first-time travelers or local candidates (must live outside a 60-mile radius)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

SICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill surgical patients in the SICU
• Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions
• Perform advanced clinical skills: arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Administer emergency medications and blood products
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to similar units as needed to support hospital operations
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as scheduled
