• Location: Florence, South Carolina 29505
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00pm – 7:00am); holiday rotation and every other weekend required
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1730
• Patient Ratio: 1:2

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (required before start)
• Minimum 1 year recent MICU RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Travel nursing experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius (locals not accepted)
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

MICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to adult and geriatric patients in the MICU
• Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Administer emergency medications and blood products
• Manage ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, and advanced cardiac drips
• Assist with procedures: chest tube insertion/removal, ECMO, CVVHD/CRRT
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care
• Float to similar critical care units as needed
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations
