ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Stockbridge, GA 30281 (Metro Atlanta area – Georgia nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 14 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 24 beds, average daily census 19
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Yes, within facility
• Charting Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1660 - $1700

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience required
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Proficient in care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, CVA/acute stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, high flow nasal cannula, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac and post-neurosurgery management, suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Ability to manage a 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio in a critical care setting
• Full compliance with healthcare onboarding and orientation requirements
• Two supervisory references preferred

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic and SBAR charting systems
• Administer medications and manage advanced ICU equipment (cardiac monitoring, BIS, Train of Four, Artic Sun, FloTrac, IABP)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in rapid response situations
• Float to other hospital units as needed within the facility
• Work every other weekend and be available for major holidays as required by the travel nursing assignment
