Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Description

  • Position: Radiologic Technologist
  • Specialty: X-Ray Technologist

Required Credentials & Compliance for Onboarding

Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support): Required for onboarding. Acceptable certifications include AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists): Required for onboarding.

Licenses

  • Professional License Verification: Must provide primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration. MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.

Personal Health Requirements

  • Fit Test (N95 Respirator): Required within 365 days of start date and updated annually. Must be completed on the specific MGB N95 Respirator Fit Test Record Form. No religious exemptions.
  • MMR Vaccine or Immunity Proof: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
  • TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON TB Test/T-spot within 3 months of start date, updated if there is a break >6 months.
  • Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required; must be completed prior to fit testing.
  • Hepatitis B Vaccine or Immunity: Strongly preferred but optional.
  • Tdap Vaccine: Preferred, must be within 10 years.
  • Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: Optional, if applicable.
  • TB Symptom Survey (if Positive PPD): Optional, must be completed prior to start and updated annually.

Professional Requirements

  • Criminal Background Check: Must be completed within 45 days prior to start and updated if >6 month break. Includes county and international searches if applicable.
  • Massachusetts CORI Check: Must be run within 30 days prior to start and updated if >6 month break.
  • Resume: Required for submission, including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • References: Two recent references required, at least one supervisor or above in the skillset.
  • Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
  • Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions, updated if start date changes.
  • Education Verification: Verified through background check company, confirming highest level of education.
  • SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check, listing addresses/aliases for past 7 years.
  • National Sex Offender Check: Run within 30 days of start and updated annually.
  • Exclusion Checks: Run within 30 days of start and annually, including OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid exclusion lists.
