Emergency Room Nurse Job Details

• Location: Flemington, NJ – Experience the warmth of a welcoming community with convenient access to both city life and picturesque rural landscapes.
• Assignment Length: 13-week nursing contract
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site
• Hourly Pay Rate: $83.70
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2020 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) or ER nursing experience required
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License (must be in hand at the time of application)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption with documentation is provided
• Professional appearance; any color scrubs permitted if clean and professional

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document all patient care activities and maintain timely records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical procedures, and regulatory standards
