Travel RN Opportunity - ICU Unit, Conroe, Texas

Unit Information

• Unit: ICU (3rd Floor)
• Number of Beds: 30
• Number of Staff: 82
• Shift Structure: Day/night shifts with 2 charge nurses and 15 staff nurses (varies by acuity and 1:1 patient needs)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1
• Equipment: CRRT, IABP, Impella (experience with Impella not mandatory)
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

• Must Have: ICU experience with ventilator management and cardiovascular drips
• Preferred: Neuro experience
• Typical Procedures: Thoracentesis, arterial line and central line placement

Certifications and Licenses

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIH Certification
• Registered Nurse License

Work Schedule and Policies

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Shifts: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• On Call: No on call required
• Floating Areas: IMU (Intermediate Care Unit)
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
