- Location: Chesapeake, VA 23320 (Virginia healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with possible extension
- Healthcare Setting: Electrophysiology Lab
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2330-$2500
- Shifts: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) or Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 19:00), Monday – Friday, per department needs
- Hours per Week: 40
- No Call Required
- Start Date: December 8, 2025
Qualifications – Electrophysiology Technologist Jobs
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Electrophysiology Lab
- Associate's degree or higher; completion of accredited cardiovascular technology program for Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist registry
- Current ACLS certification
- NASPE/RCES or RCIS certification, or registry eligible
- EPIC experience required
- Valid VA or compact state license at time of application
- Experience with GE Cardio Lab and/or St Jude Work Mate equipment preferred
- Clean license and background
Responsibilities – EP Tech Healthcare Jobs
- Perform invasive electrophysiology procedures: 3D mapping, EP recording systems, advanced ablation (including A-Fib)
- Support cardiac rhythm management interrogation and programming for multi-vendor devices
- Operate and maintain EP lab equipment
- Assist with ICE procedures and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure
- Perform EKG lead placement, arrhythmia induction, and baseline measurements
- Maintain sterile field and strict sterile technique
- Monitor patient status and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
- Stock supplies and maintain inventory
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
