ER RN Job Details – Augusta, GA
- Location: Augusta, Georgia 30901 (Georgia nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 12-week travel nursing contract (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00)
- Total Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1610 per week
- Unit: Emergency Department (ER), 59 beds, average 165-175 patients/day
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Rare
- Charting System: Epic (required)
ER Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (required for travel nurse jobs)
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Previous travel RN experience required
- Experience in high-acuity, non-trauma ER settings preferred
- Ability to work every other weekend and major holidays as scheduled
- Compliance with all facility onboarding and orientation requirements
ER RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER setting
- Assess, triage, and manage care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and respond promptly to emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
- Accurately document all patient care and interventions in Epic
- Maintain strict compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training as required
