Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Evansville, Indiana 47713
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Med/Surg Unit
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (preference for 16-26 week assignments)
• Start Date: December 1, 2025 (ASAP start available)
• Openings: 2 Registered Nurse positions
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Indiana or compact state
• BLS Certification (required before first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required before first shift)
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical bedside experience (2 years preferred)
• Med/Surg nursing experience or related specialty highly desired
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical support skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care by implementing individualized nursing care plans
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff
• Promote patient safety by following hospital protocols and clinical best practices
• Participate in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning from admission
• Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
• Contribute to a positive team environment and participate in unit team-building activities
• Maintain professional growth through continuing education and self-study
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and unit operations
