Job Details – Rochester NY LPN Travel Assignment

• Location: Rochester, NY 14621 (Upstate New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2025 – End: 3/10/2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 19:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1210 - $1240
• Setting: Tertiary Care Hospital, Medical/Surgical Unit
• Charting: Epic EMR
• Scrub Colors: Navy and white
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required as needed

LPN Qualifications & Requirements

• Active New York LPN license
• At least 1 year of recent Licensed Practical Nurse experience (hospital experience within last 2 years preferred)
• Previous clinical experience in a Medical/Surgical unit
• Proficient in Epic charting system
• Ability to manage own patient assignment with RN support
• Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed
• COVID-19 vaccine not required

Medical/Surgical LPN Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical patients under RN supervision
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Monitor and document patient status using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Complete hospital orientation and required training modules prior to start
