• Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Vero Beach, FL 32960 (Treasure Coast)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 9, 2025
• End Date: March 10, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), 3 shifts/week
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1350 - $1380
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
• Unit: Overflow (Med/Telemetry)
• Charting System: EPIC
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 18 months recent Telemetry/Acute Care RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Experience with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Cardiac Telemetry
• Proficient in managing vasoactive drips and stroke patients
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)
• Ability to float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles as needed
• Two professional references from recent managers or supervisors in specialty
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• All RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at time of submission

RN Responsibilities – Clinical Support

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry Overflow patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias
• Administer cardiac drips (no titration), blood products, and oxygen therapy
• Care for stroke patients and those requiring non-invasive airway management
• Perform central and peripheral line care and management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document care using EPIC charting system
• Float to other units within scope as needed
• Complete time-sensitive modules prior to assignment start
