• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Assignment
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1720
• Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Charting System: EPIC

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact RN license or Ohio RN license required at submission)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred
• Ability to provide two professional references (one from a nurse manager, director, or supervisor)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions considered)

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department Observation Unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer IV insulin and heparin protocols
• Manage renal failure and cardiac/vasoactive drips, including titration
• Administer blood products and manage tracheostomies
• Initiate and participate in rapid response team interventions
• Perform wound care and manage wound vacs
• Provide non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy)
• Accurately document patient care in EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy
