Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Concord, Massachusetts 01742
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (IR RN)
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 1, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts per week (7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday–Friday, with variability and a day off)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Rotating Call: Monday–Friday 6pm–11pm, Saturday/Sunday 7am–11pm
• Holidays: Required
• Weekends: As needed
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2680–$2750

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License (required for Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology certification
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with critical care experience required
• Proficiency in physical assessment, aseptic techniques, IV skills, and universal precautions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Computer literacy required
• Ability to maintain confidential patient information

Interventional Radiology Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to inpatients and outpatients in the radiology department, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and ECG changes; initiate appropriate interventions
• Recognize, document, and assist in the treatment of contrast reactions
• Respond to emergencies and assist radiologists with interventional procedures
• Administer conscious sedation and other medications as indicated
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and safety at all times
• Operate specialized equipment such as monitors, infusion pumps, oxygen equipment, and ventilators
• Accurately document patient status and nursing interventions in electronic health records
• Comply with patient identification protocols and departmental policies
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care instructions
• Prioritize patient needs and serve as a patient advocate
• Demonstrate mature judgment, initiative, and advanced nursing skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting
