Radiology Technician - New Jersey (Denville)

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Scrub and monitor cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology procedures.
• Manage access sites and symptoms, including sheath removal.
• Take emergency, after-hours call shifts (minimum of 15 call shifts currently required).
• Schedule inpatients and outpatients for all procedures.
• Assist in admitting, recovering, and discharging patients.
• Must have previous Cath Lab experience.
• Work schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM).
• Priority given to candidates with New Jersey ARRT license.
• Required experience in CCL, Interventional Radiology, and Interventional Neurology with on-call responsibilities.
• Must be able to work independently as the first assist to physicians in the lab.

Required Credentials & Compliance for Onboarding

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Valid professional license/certification with primary source verification.
  • New Jersey ARRT license preferred.
• Vaccinations & Health Requirements:

  • COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses + booster) or completed declination.
  • MMR (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer).
  • Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted at some facilities).
  • Influenza vaccine or declination (required seasonally).
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof.
  • Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted in some states).
  • TB test within one year of start date.
  • Annual physical/health statement confirming clearance to work.
• Testing & Exams:

  • Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite).
  • Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%).
  • Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%).
  • Prime Skills Checklist.
  • Prime Color-blind test (annual).
• Background & Screening:

  • National criminal background check within one year of start date (state-specific exceptions apply).
  • Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel including THC, within 60 days of start).
• Documentation:

  • Driver’s license, state ID, or passport.
  • Prime Form I-9 (employment eligibility verification).
  • Prime Orientation Packet (Essentials form and post-test).
  • Signed job description.
  • Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded).
  • Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search.
  • Prime Badge Photo (clear headshot).
  • Prime Education Verification.
  • DCI/BVP training for workplace violence prevention.
• References & Resume:

  • Resume and two professional references required for submission.

Additional Notes

• The techs in this role act as the first assist to physicians and must be capable of working independently.
• On-call responsibilities are a critical part of this position.
• Candidates must be prepared to meet all credentialing and compliance requirements prior to onboarding.
