Travel Nursing Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (OR)
- Location: Plymouth, MA 02360 – Massachusetts healthcare jobs
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with 2 on-call shifts per month
- Hours: 40 hours per week (72 guaranteed hours biweekly)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2800-$3000
- Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience
- Experience in orthopedic trauma and general surgery; neuro surgery experience preferred
- Proficient in aseptic techniques and operation of surgical equipment (Endoscopic, Laser, ENT, Ortho, Plastic, Podiatry, Neuro, General, Thoracic, Urology, Vascular)
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests (Zoom administered; 85% passing score, one attempt)
- COVID-19 booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemption accepted)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (no local travelers)
- Cannot have worked at this facility in the past 6 months
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced surgical equipment
- Participate in on-call rotation (2 calls per month)
- Adapt to a fast-paced surgical healthcare environment
- Complete required testing and documentation prior to assignment start
