Job Details – Louisville Nursing Jobs
- Location: Louisville, Kentucky 40202
- Healthcare Setting: Telemetry Unit (3 Giles*NH)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/14/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other weekend, holiday availability required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1930 - $1980
- Number of Positions: 3
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN license (required for Louisville nursing jobs)
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as scheduled
Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments according to hospital policy and patient condition
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions in the Telemetry unit
- Provide patient and family education throughout hospitalization and at discharge
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel as appropriate
- Mentor and precept new nursing staff, fostering a collaborative healthcare team environment
- Participate in hospital quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
