Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2026, End: 4/6/2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, flexible scheduling between 6:30am and 11:00pm; call required
• Schedule: 2x8-hour shifts and 2x12-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), Operating Room RN
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,760 – $2,830

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of overall operating room (OR) experience
• At least 2 years of dedicated cardiac and vascular nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma healthcare facility
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Ability to scrub required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (one from a manager/director or supervisor)

CVOR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for cardiac, vascular, and transplant surgeries
• Scrub and circulate in complex procedures: CABG, valve replacements, AAA repairs, TAVR, TEVAR, and more
• Demonstrate proficiency in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
• Participate in call rotation and adapt to flexible scheduling
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols
