• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Setting: Operating Room – Neuro Surgery
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1720-$1850
• Call: 1-2 calls per week (Mon-Thur), 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks
• Patient Population: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Charting System: EPIC experience required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (no license hits) – Registered Nurse jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (neuro, trauma, ortho, robotics required)
• Independent function in Neurosurgery required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience in Trauma Level II facility required; Level I preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Tobacco and fragrance free
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) per contract

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub for neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics surgical procedures
• Respond to code situations and emergencies in the operating room
• Administer blood and blood products as needed
• Manage patient positioning (lateral, supine, prone) and ensure safety protocols
• Handle specimen collection, labeling, and infection control procedures
• Utilize specialized equipment (electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, etc.)
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled, with 30-minute callback response required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, etc.)
• Care for COVID-19 patients as needed
