Medical/Surgical RN Job Details

• Location: Keene, NH (03431) – New Hampshire healthcare jobs
• Unit: Thompson Unit – Medical/Surgical
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (12/22/2025 – 3/21/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend, rotating holidays
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2010 - $2160
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 5:1, based on acuity
• Facility: 39-bed, mixed-acuity (medical, surgical, stepdown)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active NH RN License or Compact RN License (proof of state residency required)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, primarily elderly adults
• Monitor and manage patients receiving Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
• Utilize telemetry to assess and monitor patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Deliver compassionate support to patients and their families
