Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Epic experience is REQUIRED.
• Navy blue scrubs are required.
• Trauma Level One experience is required.
• Must have 2-3 years of staff experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.

Required Skill Set

• Competency with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in ICU.
• Experience with high acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Proficient with ventilators, arterial lines (a-lines), spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring.
• Experience with temporary pacemakers and titration of vasoactive and inotropic drips.

• High acuity critical care environment with complex patient care needs.

This position is ideal for experienced CVICU nurses with strong critical care skills and Epic EMR proficiency looking for a travel assignment in a Level One Trauma center.
