- End Date: March 17, 2026
- Duration: 13-week nursing contract
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; occasional flexibility for urgent needs)
- Weekend Coverage: Required (must work one major holiday during contract)
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250-$2310
ER Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand (required for Massachusetts nursing jobs)
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS (TNCC and EPIC experience preferred)
- Experience in Level I Trauma Center, triage, dysrhythmia management, ventilated patient care, and behavioral health emergencies in the ED preferred
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must pass a Telemetry exam during orientation (minimum score: 80%)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Completion of all required modules and compliance documentation prior to start date
ER RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages (neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics) in a high-acuity Emergency Department
- Perform triage, assessment, and management of trauma and medical emergencies
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, care for ventilated patients, and respond to behavioral health emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care using the facility’s electronic charting system
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical education as required
