Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Milford, MA 01757 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2620-$2690
• Shift: 32 hours per week, with two shifts from 18:45–07:15 and one shift from 22:45–07:15
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Healthcare Setting: Community Hospital, Float Pool
• Units Covered: ED Holds, Med Surg/Tele, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Cardiac, PCU (No ICU floats; possible basic care in Endo)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand (required for Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with Meditech Expanse charting system highly preferred
• Ability to float between multiple hospital units as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must pass a Telemetry exam during orientation (80% passing score required)

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to adults in Telemetry, Med Surg, Cardiac, and other units
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and manage IVs and telemetry equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, rapid response)
• Float between assigned units to meet patient care needs
• Document patient care and progress accurately using Meditech Expanse
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
• Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
