Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Effingham, IL 62401 (Illinois travel nursing opportunity)
• Healthcare Setting: Women and Infant Services / Labor & Delivery Unit
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 8, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2310 - $2470

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at submission)
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Effingham, IL
• Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor patient status, assess for complications, and respond to emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care best practices
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care activities
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
