Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Morgantown, WV 26506 (West Virginia healthcare jobs)
• Facility Type: Acute Care – Resource Pool (MedSurg, Stepdown, Telemetry units)
• Contract Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), Weekend Night block scheduling (F,S,S or S,S,M)
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• Charting System: EPIC EMR
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1970-$2110

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (open to candidates awaiting West Virginia RN license submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience (Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, Oncology preferred)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience and previous travel nurse experience preferred
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Adaptable to multiple clinical units; well-rounded nursing skills
• Royal blue scrubs required

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in Cardiac Stepdown, MedSurg, and Telemetry units
• Manage patient ratios: 1:3 for Stepdown, 1:6 for MedSurg/Telemetry
• Float between Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Oncology, and General Medicine units
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Comply with hospital policies and procedures
