• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Telemetry
• Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
• Start Date: December 14, 2025
• End Date: February 7, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910–$1960
• Patient Ratios: 1:5/6
• Float: Required to other units as needed

PCU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (Nursys verification required) – Ohio nursing jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Epic EMR experience within the last year (must be listed on resume)
• Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE)
• Ability to submit up to 5 days of requested time off at submission (no block scheduling)
• Completion of competency exams and health screenings as required

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Progressive Care Unit and Telemetry environment
• Monitor cardiovascular and neurological patients, including frequent NIH assessments and medication drips
• Care for COVID-19 and other isolation patients as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to other nursing units to support patient care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance standards in all nursing practices
