Location: Rutland, VT (05701) – Vermont healthcare jobs
Facility Setting: Resource Staff Pool – Float between Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical/Surgical (MS), ER Hold, Medical/Oncology/Surgical units
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025, End: 3/14/2026)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000–$2140

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – VT nursing license required (must apply upon acceptance)
Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or acute care nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
Successful completion of Dysrhythmia testing
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Ability to float between multiple hospital units
Own vehicle required (no public transportation access)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, Oncology, Progressive Care, and ER Hold units
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Float to various units as needed based on hospital staffing requirements
Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
Participate in biweekly orientation and ongoing nursing professional development
