Key Job Details – RN Travel Nursing Opportunity
- Location: Lebanon, NH 03756 (Upper Valley region)
- Healthcare Setting: Hematology/Oncology Inpatient Unit (24 beds Hem/Onc/Gyn Onc & Med/Surg; 9 beds Hematology & Cellular Therapy)
- Job Type: Travel Nursing – Registered Nurse
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2026 – End: 4/4/2026)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7:00pm–7:00am or 7:00am–7:00pm); Day/Night Rotations
- On-Call: Required
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New Hampshire or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Oncology RN experience
- Proven skills in chemotherapy administration and side effect management
- Experience caring for patients receiving radiation therapy and radioisotopes
- Preferred: Experience with chest tubes, IV drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone), post-surgical lines/tubes/drains, trachs/laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wound care, central line maintenance, and blood draws
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
RN Responsibilities – Hematology/Oncology Nursing Jobs
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses including lymphoma, leukemia, and ovarian cancers
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions
- Manage side effects and provide supportive care for patients receiving radiation therapy and radioisotope treatments
- Care for post-surgical patients, including management of lines, tubes, drains, and complex wounds
- Perform central line care, maintenance, and blood draws
- Monitor patients using telemetry and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
