- Location: Charleston, South Carolina (Zip: 29407) – South Carolina healthcare jobs
- Facility Setting: Adult Cardiac Cath Lab
- Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist Contract
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- On-call: Not required
- Weekend Requirement: None
- Floating: Possible to similar units
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1990–$2140
Qualifications for Cardiovascular/Electrophysiology Radiology Tech Jobs
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology healthcare setting
- National Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) required
- Active South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License (SCQRSA)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Radiation badge (provided by agency)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- First-time travelers with relevant experience are welcome
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Assist with adult diagnostic catheterizations, permanent pacemaker insertions, pulmonary artery line insertions, right heart catheterizations, temporary pacemakers, conduction studies, and AICD insertion/programming
- Perform and monitor electrophysiology procedures, including arrhythmia induction and cardiac ablation
- Set up and maintain equipment, ensure sterile technique, and manage inventory and supplies
- Perform EKG lead placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Document procedures and patient care in Epic charting system
- Float to similar clinical units as needed
