Radiation Therapist Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital
• Location: West Chester, PA 19380 (Chester County, Pennsylvania)
• Hourly Pay Rate: $65

Radiation Therapist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or clinical setting
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required
• Radiation Therapy certification required
• Experience with CT/SIMS procedures preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate and train alongside an experienced Radiation Technologist

Radiation Therapist Responsibilities

• Administer precise radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients as prescribed by physicians
• Operate, monitor, and maintain advanced radiation therapy equipment
• Assist with CT/SIMS procedures and imaging as needed
• Work closely with an experienced Rad Tech for ongoing training and support
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout all treatment sessions
• Maintain accurate and thorough treatment records and clinical documentation
