Radiation Therapist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or clinical healthcare setting
• Current Radiation Therapy certification required
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Experience with CT/SIMS procedures preferred
• Halcyon and Truebeam equipment experience highly desirable
• Strong communication and clinical teamwork skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to new radiation therapy equipment and protocols

Radiation Therapist Responsibilities

• Administer precise and compassionate radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate and maintain advanced radiation therapy equipment, including Halcyon and Truebeam systems
• Assist with CT/SIMS procedures to support patient care and clinical workflow
• Collaborate with experienced Radiation Technologists and participate in hands-on clinical training
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and deliver high-quality care during all radiation treatment sessions
• Maintain accurate treatment records in compliance with hospital and healthcare standards
