ICU Registered Nurse Job Details
- Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
- Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/22/2025 – End: 3/23/2026)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
ICU RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in an acute care hospital
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Ability to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (TELE) units as needed
- Maximum of 7 days or less of requested time off (RTO)
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Float to MS and TELE units as required, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate clinical documentation and patient management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
