ICU RN Job Details – Minnesota Travel Nursing

• Location: Thief River Falls, MN 56701 (Minnesota healthcare jobs)
• Facility: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (ICU, Med-Surg, OB)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
• Schedule: 36 hours/week; 12-hour rotating day/night shifts (occasional 8-hour shifts)
• Weekend/Holiday: 2-3 weekends per 6-week schedule; every other holiday
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs; pale palette for undershirts
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050 - $2200

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license (required for Minnesota nursing jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
• Proficiency with EPIC charting, Omnicell, Philips monitors/telemetry, defibrillators, IV pumps, BiPap, and ventilators
• Ability to float to Med-Surg and, if qualified, to OB or Emergency Department

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU, Med-Surg, and PACU settings
• Monitor telemetry for acute care patients and manage continuous IV medications
• Perform cardioversions and provide after-hours PACU support
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including Emergency Department nurses
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC
• Participate in comprehensive orientation (1 day Med-Surg, 1 day ICU)
• Comply with hospital policies, including badge in/out procedures
