Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Olathe, KS 66061 (Kansas healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Telemetry (Telemetry nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/14/2025 – End: 3/15/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Float to all acute care units as needed
• Orientation: 5 days (includes on-site and virtual Epic EMR training)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active KS RN License or Compact RN License (Registered Nurse jobs in Kansas)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience
• At least 18 months of hospital experience (Orthopedic & Spine experience preferred)
• Current ACLS & BLS certifications required
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Must attend required orientation sessions
• New graduates are not eligible for this travel nursing job

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other acute care units as assigned
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
• Comply with all hospital policies, including nicotine-free workplace requirements
