Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico (Zip: 87505) – Ideal for nurses seeking New Mexico travel nursing jobs or Santa Fe healthcare opportunities
Facility Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
Assignment Start Date: December 8, 2025
Assignment End Date: March 8, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Openings Available: 2 ICU RN positions
Tax Status: W2
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 - $1910

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or Compact state (required for New Mexico nursing jobs)
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
TNCC certification preferred
Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

ICU RN Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver patient care for adult ICU patients in a clinical setting
Provide safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care in accordance with ICU standards
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Respond promptly to emergency and critical care situations
Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Ensure compliance with patient rights, HIPAA, and confidentiality standards
Participate in unit and hospital goals, supporting the mission and values of the healthcare organization
