• Unit: Med/Surg Rehab – Acute Inpatient Rehab
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 6, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (07:00 – 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 4-5 shifts per contract
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1490 - $1600 per week
• First-time travel nurses welcome!

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Compact RN license or Maryland Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Acute Inpatient Rehab RN experience
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Ability to float to similar Med/Surg units as needed
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and transfers

RN Responsibilities – Acute Inpatient Rehab

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute inpatient rehab setting
• Coordinate and manage patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living, ensuring safety for high falls risk populations
• Prepare and transport patients to therapy appointments throughout the day
• Utilize specialized nursing skills such as Heparin drip management, CAPD, tracheostomy care, G-tube and wound vac management
• Perform assessments, document care, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Float to Med/Surg units as needed
• Participate in orientation and required modules prior to start
