• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour days, 4 shifts/week)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030–$2190
• On-Call: 6-8 calls per month
• Weekend/Holiday: Weekend and holiday shifts may be required
• Dress Code: Blue scrubs

Qualifications – Surgical Technologist First Assist Jobs

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist (CSTFA), with vascular surgery experience
• NBSTSA Certification (required)
• Active Virginia State License
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Ability to complete privileging/credentialing package promptly upon offer

Responsibilities – OR Tech First Assist

• Assist surgeons during vascular and complex surgical procedures in the operating room
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical equipment is available and functioning
• Maintain sterile field and comply with infection control protocols
• Support adult patient population throughout surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent surgical needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care
