Atlanta Nursing Job Details

• Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 (Georgia nursing jobs)
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Unit (Med/Surg RN jobs)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 4, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (7:30am – 6:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1750 - $1790 per week
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing (Med/Surg RN experience)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia RN license preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the contract
• Must be willing to commute; no local candidates within 50 miles

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical environment
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
